20 Jimmy Page Licks in the Key of A
In this lesson, I show how to play 20 licks in the style of the great Jimmy Page.
All licks are in the key of A. Most of these licks use the minor pentatonic scale, but there are exceptions. Some examples use the major or major pentatonic scales.
For each lick, I describe the scales and notes being used, and show the tablature. I go into detail for the proper technique to be used for each lick. I focus on the difficult parts of each lick. I also talk a little bit about how to apply the licks, and how to derive more licks from each of these licks.
Most of these licks are pretty easy for the beginner to intermediate level players, and there are some that will be challenging for even advanced players.
Practice these licks slowly, and try to incorporate the licks that you like into your own playing. Thanks for watching!
