14 Fast Stevie Ray Vaughan Blues Guitar Licks In the Key of E

In this lesson, I show how to play 14 blues licks in the style of the late, great, Stevie Ray Vaughan. All licks are in the key of E, and generally use the E minor pentatonic scale.

These licks are based on the fast SRV style songs in E. This includes songs like Testify, Rude Mood, and Scuttle Buttin’.

All licks are shown with tab, and include detailed breakdowns. The licks range in difficulty from fairly easy to difficult.

At the end of this lesson, you should have some licks (or at least some ideas for licks!) to be able to jam, SRV style, in the K of E.
